Atlantic Council
With support from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Atlantic Council's Ukraine in Europe Initiative has rallied international support for an independent Ukraine and kept US support for Ukraine strong, consistent, and bipartisan. The initiative, spearheaded by the Council's Eurasia Center, convenes key stakeholders, policymakers, thought leaders, and civil society leaders in public and private to support Ukraine. The initiative has kept public attention on Ukraine's strategic importance at the forefront of policy discussions in Washington and around the world.
Recognizing the high stakes of Ukraine's 2019 election, the Atlantic Council, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, and the Transatlantic Commission on Election Integrity established the Ukrainian Election Task Force, a rapid-response team to monitor foreign interference in the country's election, ensure integrity, and propose suitable responses to protect Ukraine's democracy.
In 2019, the Eurasia Center's policy impact has been evident in many key developments over the course of the year, including helping generate congressional support for Ukraine and convening a bipartisan group of policymakers to reiterate steadfast US support for Ukraine in its ongoing fight against Russian aggression.
— Ambassador John Herbst, Director of the Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council
As Washington faced some of the most polarizing partisan challenges in recent history, the Atlantic Council convened bipartisan sessions meant to rally continued US support for Ukraine.

The Atlantic Council hosted US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse as a keynote speaker in May 2019 for the launch of Senior Fellow Dr. Anders Åslund's book, Russia's Crony Capitalism: The Path from Market Economy to Kleptocracy.
